Q1 2024 Project Update

Q1 2024 Project Update
04/2024

We are thrilled to share with you the progress achieved across the entire project over the last quarter.

Stage One: Building A, B & C

Within Stage One, buildings A and B have reached the final stages of construction, with completed façade works, amenities, and retail spaces.

We are also excited to announce buildings A and B have reached the major milestone of practical completion. This crucial and final phase of construction was achieved after the recent issue of the Occupation Certificate across the two buildings, which demonstrates that the construction work has been completed and meets all safety and regulatory requirements, ready for occupation.

Building C’s apartments are now finished and undergoing final testing and commissioning to ensure everything works.

Stage Two: Buildings D & E

Moving onto Stage Two, encompassing buildings D & E, construction is making substantial developments with the exterior façade now emerging with the vision for the buildings taking shape.

Internal framing works have also commenced across both buildings, bringing the apartment floor plans to life.

Simultaneously, the brickwork on the ground floor retail precinct and level one amenity podium is 80% complete. Further developments on the podium level have included the construction of the swimming pool and landscaping beds.

Looking forward, the team on-site are full steam ahead, with both buildings expected to top out by mid-year. Ongoing efforts will continue on the external façade, internal apartment finishes and the ground floor retail precinct.

Domenic Alvaro, Director at Woods Bagot, provided an insightful update on the unique architecture at Mason & Main.

He stated “Quality materials and a design focus on the human scale while the double-height brick arched podium brings grandeur to Merrylands’ town centre and adds a private eat street experience. This precinct will not only enrich the lives of its residents but also contribute to the cultural and economic growth of the wider Merrylands community.”
